The global economy has been hit hard by the ongoing pandemic as the year 2020 saw several companies showing a fall in their revenues and reductions in their market value. Accordingly we have made this list of the Top 20 Largest companies in 2021. The MSCI World Index dropped down by 21% because of market volatility in the first half of the year and the share price of several companies dropped down in the stock exchanges.
The second half proved comparatively better for several industries as the data improved and they started recovering the lost ground. The year 2021 has shown a considerable economic recovery from last year so far as some sectors especially healthcare, retail and technology have seen record highs in their personal data and other business sectors are also trying to manage their earlier loss
The Global top 100 companies have shown a remarkable increase of 48% from 10.3 trillion US dollar to 31.7 Trillion US dollar from 31st March 2020 to 31st March 2021.
