HDL is the acronym for hardware description Language , which describe the hardware of digital systems in textual form. Digital systems can be represented in the form of documentation , which can be understood by human and also computers . Logic diagrams , digital circuits , Boolean expressions can be represented using HDL . The orientation of HDL is specially towards describing the hardware structures and behaviour. To describe hardware for the purpose of simulation , modelling , testing , design and documentation HDLs are used .
