CPA Exam in India| US CPA Course Fees Details, Salary, Eligibility Cost & Exams in India How to pass the CPA exam | How to Study for the CPA exam Following up on the conversations we have had recently regarding the administration of the CPA Exam in India, and given the global navel restrictions in place now and for the foreseeable future, the AICPA and NASBA plan to begin a pilot program in India for the express purpose of providing a healthy, safe, convenient and cost-effective environment for Indian candidates to write the U.S CPA Examination (Exam). Until the COVID-19 restrictions, these candidates were required to travel to the United States or the Middle East to write the Exam. This pilot will make travel outside of India unnecessary for candidates to write the US CPA Exam Update. NASBA, the AICPA, and Prometric will begin India-based testing of the Exam on June 1, 2020. Indian Candidates currently approved for testing can begin scheduling their sections for Prometric test centres in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New De., and Trivandrum. NASBA recently informed candidates of the option to change their testing location if they already scheduled the CPA Exam in another country. The initial testing schedule is as follows: • June 1 — June 30 • September 1 — September 30 For now, we know the Prometric test centres in India are closed. Understanding the COVID-19 situation changes daily, the three organizations are monitoring developments to leam when Prometric will be allowed to reopen and we u. adjust the Indian testing months accordingly. A.ssummg the administrations m June and September go smoothly, future testing opportunities may be announced. Eligible candidates from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the United States can also sit for the CPA Exam in India. The expansion of international testing marks an exciting opportunity for the U.S CPA as we continue to drive interest in this globally valued credential. More than 1,500 Indian candidates already in the pipeline will have convenient access to multiple testing locations in their own country.
